Our experience with Bare was excellent from the first phone call. Before calling Bare we felt overwhelmed with worry that arranging a service would be difficult and stressful but Bare provided an outstanding level of support, helping us to feel calm and reassured at every step. Bare's staff, along with the online dashboard and checklists, made the process easier and the service exceeded our expectations, it could not have gone any better, it was absolutely perfect. Every member of Bare we had contact with were wonderful but in particular, we extend a very special thanks to the crew on the ground at the service - they were exceptional. If I could award more than 5 stars I would. Thank you to everyone at Bare.

We used BARE Funerals for my dad’s passing, and I honestly cannot speak highly enough of them. From the very first phone call, every staff member we dealt with was empathetic and kind, gentle in their approach, and completely genuine. There was never any pressure, no upselling, no hint of being pushed into anything. In fact, the package we originally enquired about was more expensive, and they were the ones who suggested a less costly option that still met all our needs. That alone says everything about their values. What really stood out was how supported we felt. Someone was available literally 24 hours a day, and every message or call was met with quick, thoughtful, compassionate communication. In a time when your brain is foggy and your heart is heavy, having people guide you step by step, calmly, clearly, and with real care, definitely makes an enormous difference. I’ve already recommended BARE to so many people because our experience was the opposite of what you often hear about the funeral industry. They put us, and my dad, first. No sales pitch. No pressure. Just authentic, human support when we needed it most. I applaud the two young men who founded BARE. They genuinely live their philosophy, and it shows in every interaction. I’m deeply grateful for the way they helped us through such a difficult time.

I recently lost my mum, and I wasn’t prepared for how overwhelming the costs would be. A friend recommended Bare, and from the moment I contacted them, it was clear they genuinely cared. It never felt like it was about money—they focused on what I needed for my mum, with compassion and respect. Everything was handled with such class, and at a cost that didn’t leave me financially devastated. Every question I had was answered straight away, and they supported me through all the details, including photos, music, and everything in between. Thank you for making my mum’s funeral a meaningful and beautiful farewell during such a difficult time.

Bare Cremations is affordable and removes all the stress of arranging a funeral/cremation. My brother passed away in South Australia, I live in NSW. He had prepaid for a Bare Cremation and they handled everything from picking up the body, the cremation, the death certificate. I asked them to have the ashes scattered in the cemetery as I did not want them delivered to me. Everything went smoothly.

Just attended my sister inlaws funeral , beautiful service ,compassionate caring , just like being a member of our family . Highly recommended.

I recently lost my husband and decided to contact Bare Funerals and Cremations. I recommend highly to anyone to look int Bare as they are the most compassinate and friendly team I have ever come accross. You are in constant contact with advice, assistance and extremely caring people. They made my experience so wonderful and I knewthat I could reach outanytime and would have someone to talk to. They made eveything so easy for me with no complications. You couldn't ask for a more caring and helpful Funderal Industry than Bare.

Just a short note to say thank you all so much. My Father passed on the 20th April this year and after seeing the advertisement for Bare on TV I decided to ring them. I couldn't have been happier with the results, my Dad was an undertaker for most of my adolescent life so I thought I knew about death and grief but until it becomes personal you have no idea. All the staff I spoke to at Bare were really caring but not "over the top" if I needed anything all I had to do was ask, no problems at all. Both my family and my Dad were treated with respect and for that and all the help provided all I can say is thank you all so much. I have recommended Bare to two of my friends already and will continue to sing their praises until they take care of my cremation and look after my family. I know they will be in good hands. We delt with other companies and the only thing they wanted to know is how much money do you have? Bare Funerals asked for our mother's name. Each time we talked about what was happening they talked to us (Not told, talked to us). 100 out of 10 they are going to respect your loved ones wishes.

The peope at Bare were great to deal with. They responded promptly, with appropriate care and concern and offered us options to suit what we wanted. Their website as a first connection was easy and our consultant Emily kept us informed throughout the whole process and was able to adjust and work with what we needed. The whole process was easy to do, dealt with very professionally and very affordable. Thank you to the people at Bare for all you did.

When my dad passed I didnt know what to do until Bare made contact with me , The ladys voice at the other end of the phone was my everything to me she liston to me cry helped me with details about my dad helped with decisions that I have never made before , my dad had already set up his own prepaid cremation that I was so Grateful for . No amount or advice can actually ready you for the deep reality of that first loss ,but with the ladies that supported me over the phone and face to face when picking up my dad it helped alot we even laughted and shared experiences . I came to Bare to help me through Dad’s passing and funeral. This was a year after Mum passed and we then used another funeral home. Bare have totally exceeded my expectations! They were just as professional and caring but less than half the cost of the other funeral company. Amazing work and thank you Bare!

This is a longer review, but wanted to do it justice and show my appreciation. By way of context, I hadn’t seen my brother for the best part of a decade when he unexpectedly passed away. The funeral arrangements fell to me as others were unwilling or unable to. I also care for an elderly and severely mobility impaired parent. I mention these things to highlight the circumstances and emphasise the exceptional service, flexibility, and compassion provided by Bare in laying my brother to rest in that context, and providing me with tremendous support. There was no cookie cutter approach and everything was clear and transparent from start to finish, catering for and working around specific challenges, circumstances, and changes along the way without judgement and with empathy. The whole team was exceptional, but I’d like to acknowledge the following people. Jess as concierge took my initial call early on a Saturday morning, putting me at ease with care and empathy in those early stages. Gia as arranger was patient, compassionate and communicated clearly and expediently every step of the way - thank you again Gia for everything. Febb and Alpha were efficient and worked wonders with the stationery and design aspects. A shout out to Alex as celebrant for showing such attention to detail in preparing for and officiating a lovely and fitting graveside service with warmth and calmness, and likewise Shaylah and the Bare team members on the day of the funeral showed care, patience and compassion in laying my brother to rest with dignity. I highly recommend Bare and have only positive things to say about the team, who provided incredible support and peace of mind during such a difficult time. If I could give this review more than 5 stars I would.

A huge heartfelt thank you to Dani Suchowiecki from Bare Funeral Services in QLD and to Krystal for all the love, care and support you gave our family while organising Mum’s funeral. During one of the hardest times in our lives, Dani helped me as much as she possibly could, and both of you showed so much kindness, compassion and patience through it all. You both helped make such an emotional day feel so special and meaningful, and because of you we were able to give Mum the beautiful farewell she deserved. Thank you for always being there to answer questions, guide us and make everything just that little bit easier when our hearts were hurting so much. We are truly so grateful for everything you did for our family and we will never forget your kindness. ❤️

We experienced the recent unexpected death of a close family member who lived alone interstate. In all the confusion and grief, Bare, and particularly Natasha, really supported us. We had clear communication, a reasonable price and frequent contact explaining all the steps. We didn't feel so alone in a strange city with the support Bare gave us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bare. I really feel we received personal caring service from an honest company.

This review is for all the DOUBTERS out there. I am from Spearwood in Western Australia and have just had a Cremation for my mum on the 20th of May 2026. My Dad had seen Bare Cremation advertised on TV and when the family sat down to start the process of who to use, he kept pushing Bare's phone number forward. I phoned 3 other funeral directors to gauge an estimate. I then rang Bare, from the first phone call with Holly to our arranger Ashlyn. The whole process has been nothing but amazing. I had to deal with Negative Nancys within my family about using Bare. The family are so thankful we didn't listen to the doubters, the service was impeccable. I want to thank Holly who did an amazing job in helping us through this difficult time and that was just for a quote. Then our arranger Ashlyn, I cannot praise you enough. A very good way of producing a product that's needed by all. Staff was very amiable and the product information was great and easy to understand and the simple payments set up and the backup of the money invested to be safe Plus my contact was understanding and very helpful in providing his assistance in any questions , would recommend to all family and friends

My Uncle suggested Bare for my Mother's recent passing. I am still in the process, but cannot praise them enough for how beautifully Bare Brisbane have looked after my Mother and supported me in handling the admin side with their dashboard that would be so hard to do alone whilst grieving. Becc has been an amazing Arranger, and so very supportive. Bare were also able to work with my Mother's specific wishes, which was very special and caring. An absolutely amazing service for our very much loved Mother, Sister, Grandmother 🩷

On the recommendation from friends who had used Bare Cremation services my family, very sadly under the circumstances of my dear husband’s death, engaged Bare to assist us with the next stage in our grieving. My sister recently passed away on the side of the street in queensland and I had no idea of who to ring. I had seen Bare advertised on TV so living in Tasmania I decided to call them. Little did I know that was the best decision I would make as they were fantastic and very compassionate. Right from the gecko they were informative and very caring and stayed in touch through the whole process. They were in touch constantly even a couple of weeks after the cremation to check in on how my other sister and i were coping, just to let us know that we entitled to 4 grief counseling sessions if needed. As far as I'm concerned we couldn't thank Bare and their associates that work for them more highly. A big thank you 11/10

My husband and I always said we did not want an expensive funeral and a cremation for both of us is what we decided on. When the time came and after a long illness for my husband with Azlheimers it was obvious I needed to make arrangements. We are both pensioners and when I inquired the cost of prepaid creations, only, for both of us, the cost was prohibitive. I was blessed and impressed by the presenters of BARE's TV commercials and when I rang the people I spoke with were very helpful. I have very little computer knowledge and they helped me fill out the necessary forms and explained absolutely everything that I needed to do and have in place. In April of this year my darling passed away in the Nursing Home and BARE organised absolutely everything, from the cremation, to informing Centrelink and also the Death Certificate. They were constantly in touch with me to see how I was and If I needed any counselling or help. When the time came they hand delivered my darling's ashes right to my home, and subsequently have still kept in touch to see how I was. I sincerely recommend BARE and have made the same arrangements for myself for when my time comes so that my son will also have the same sensitive help that I have received. Tamara
