The hall offers a spacious and lovely place that is ideal for your loved one’s celebration of life with up to 180 people. With its prime location, the venue is easily accessible for family and friends. The hall opens out on to a spacious outdoor recreational area, with ample seating undercover, to keep you out of the wet weather. The Civic Hall does not provide catering services but they have kitchen facilities that you can use to prepare food and refreshments for a simple yet beautiful memorial service.

The Carrington is a historic hotel with excellent function spaces, well situated in Katoomba. The Carrington's Ballroom is a large, lavish space that may be used for a variety of events. It emanates a sense of grandeur and charm with its magnificent chandeliers, intricate ceilings, and traditional architecture. The Ballroom comfortably accommodates up to 100 seated guests. This venue is well loved for its timeless and elegant atmosphere. For smaller functions of up to 30 guests, The Library is ideal, with wood panelled walls and an open fireplace.

Aside from the lovely church building itself the venue also features a Memorial Garden. Ashes can be scattered in the Memorial Garden or it can be a place to reflect and remember. The Jubilee Memorial Organ chapel came to St Mary’s in 1918 and an organist is available to play for your loved one’s service. Catering is not available and needs to be organised separately.
