The Hurstville Entertainment Centre has two wonderful spaces available to hold a memorial service. This lovely venue is ideal for a large celebration of life as it can accommodate up to 100 guests. Their Marana Auditorium is filled with character architecture and the charm of a classic ballroom, with tiered balcony seating and a flexible floor plan. Their Civic Theatre, on the other hand, is a modern and stylish venue that offers a contemporary space to celebrate the life of your loved one. Catering is not provided at the venue, and arrangements are need to be made separately.

The venue has a maximum capacity of 230 people, making it ideal for larger celebrations of life. They also offer smaller chapels for more intimate gatherings, such as The Mawson Chapel which seats 35 guests. Catering services are also available and offered at the venue for your convenience

The park has a wide array of gardens and pavilions, each with its own unique beauty and charm. From the traditional rose plantings to the peaceful Buddhist Garden and the modern metal sculpture of The Cascades, the park offers a tranquil ambiance that is perfect for contemplation and reflection. The venue offers two reflection rooms, the Wattle 1 and Wattle 2 rooms. They seat 130 and 250 guests respectively. The venue also allows you to bring in your own catering with a charge or order additional catering as needed.

The Junction Community Centre

The Junction Community Centre is located 12kms from the CBD and 3kms from the Port. It is a peaceful and dignified venue that is sure to provide a fitting space for honoring your loved one. The centre was originally a church and has high ceilings, exposed wooden beams, beautifully crafted leadlight windows and pine floorboards that create an ambiance suitable for a lovely memorial service. The kitchen at the center is fully equipped with an oven/stove, urn, microwave, and workspace, although cookware, crockery, cutlery, and BBQ equipment are not provided. The maximum capacity of the venue is 132 people, and catering arrangements need to be made separately.
Bare Memorial or Funeral Packages includes any of the venues listed as ‘Included in Bare Package’. Note, some venues may apply additional fees based on decisions like service duration, guest count, or the day of the week. Please reach out to your arranger with any questions.
